SALARY : R94. 86 per hour
CENTRE : Breede Valley Sub-district
REQUIREMENTS: Basic literacy and numeracy. Relevant cleaning experience in a health environment. Ability to lift/move heavy equipment, work at heights using a stepladder, perform physical tasks, and operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment. Must rotate between clinics as needed. Competencies: Work well in a team, independently, take responsibility, handle conflict and pressure, and operate necessary machinery.
DUTIES : Responsible for cleaning, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, refuse removal, cleaning of garbage bins daily, toilets, sluices and drains, cleaning of windows and walls in the clinic. Ensure that cleaning equipment is clean after usage and securely stored. Render assistance to the supervisor with general housekeeping duties, such as the control of cleaning and household equipment, the care of linen, and the serving of patients. Adhere to safety measures when handling waste. Attend in-service training appropriate to service delivery.
